Our Review:

Excellent product that we give it an easy 5/5. To put the Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker to the text we experimented with a lot of indian dishes and other fickle recipes that often require unique cooking methods and this model sure did deliver. Our greek yogurt turned out excellent and is now a new staple in our diet.

It’s very simple to operate, has a reasonable weight to it and is not too bulky. The unit alone can easily replace many of your other kitchen appliances so keep that in mind if you’re looking to free up space. One of it’s best features is the stainless steel removable pot insert which doubles as a serving bowl. This Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker is a very safe and unintimadating product that meets all UL and ULC safety standards. Our views are completely aligned with the rave reviews found all over the many comment areas of multiple suppliers and the verdict is 100% positive.

Our Review:

The Cuisinart 6 Qt Electric Pressure Cooker is definitely high up on our list though it is missing a few features we really love out of pressure cooking. A few things to note are that it does not have a slow cooking, canning or steaming feature. However, its light weight (12.57 pounds), set and forget programming, safety lid, durability and end result make this an excellent choice as it still strongly serves as four cooking appliances in one.

With its 99 minute timer on the LED display showing the cooking countdown, cool-touch handles, the a dishwasher safe, nonstick cooking pot and trivet it stands as a high contender, especially at its price point. And the detachable chord is a bonus as well. The 3 year warranty makes a huge argument in favour of this model and should not be under looked.

Secura 6-in-1 6Qt Programmable Electric Pressure Cooker Review

Average User Rating: 4.5/5

Here’s another excellent item for our list, the Secura 6-in-1 Electric 6Qt Pressure Cooker. Surely an efficient product which works fast, quietly and does an excellent job keeping the heat in so there’s something to note if you’re living in a hot place.

It is versatile serving as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, sauté/browning pan, food steamer, soup maker, and rice cooker. Like its competitors it includes an automatic WARM setting once cooking is complete with the addition of cool-touch handles and lid, and a micro-computerized temperature and time control system. It is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Secura includes a rice spoon, measuring cup, a small recipe book and of course, a manual along with the item.

Our Review:

A very easy to use product with great results. On one hand, it is an entry level product and is priced as such, though in this case a little sure goes a long way as it serves as six kitchen appliances in one. That makes the Secura 6-in-1 Electric 6Qt Pressure Cooker an excellent choice for anyone looking to save space.

We would prefer that the steaming rack be included in the package as many recipes do call for it but that did not at all take away from its performance. Be sure to check out which other accessories can be added as you may wish to grab those as well. The digital programmer is a cinch to use and the delayed timer is great, especially for slow cooking. To this we would add that that though extremely user friendly, the control panel looks rather dated. This may not be much of a concern to you but should you choosing appliances which fit aesthetically in your kitchen, bare this in mind.

After using the Secura 6-in-1 for its many features which had never once disappointed, we place it at as our third favourite electric pressure cooker.

Our Review:

Of the Nesco 6Qt Electric Pressure Cooker we particularly like the self locking lid which has an automatic pressure release for added safety. There is literally no intimidation in using this pressure cooker and it provides consistently superb results. We tested it for all of its features and all of them did a great good job.

It maintains its elegance after being handled and doesn’t leave pesky finger marks. It is made of stainless steel which gives it a professional look which would fit in any kitchen and also provides a sturdy base. It also makes clean up a snap being non-stick and dishwasher friendly.

Added accessories are always a bonus and this one comes with it own cooking insert and trivet which help to cook multiple ingredients at a time while keeping their flavours apart. Our Review:

While the MaxiMatic Elite Platinum Electric Pressure Cooker does fall just slightly short of having all the features we could ask for in a pressure cooker, we are very pleased overall and suggest anyone give it some serious consideration. It does lack the slow cooker function though you could maneuver the browning and keep WARM functions to do the trick okay.

There are no high and low settings as all settings are set automatically when you enter the appropriate cooking function. But it is superior than many other models when used as a canner (we put 6 x 1 pint jars in it, 3 x 32 oz jars and 4 x 16 oz jars as mentioned above with success). The outside is made of an attractive Platinum stainless steel which works in any kitchen. The versatile, simple use and assured effectiveness of this model make it a sure winner.

We hope our electric pressure cooker reviews came in handy and helped save you some time tracking down the best model for your kitchen. Reading reviews can be a very daunting process that can have you clicking through too many sites with careless input on a product, or the unfortunate case of 'not very bright' customers whos poor reviews ruin it for potential buyers. If you are still unsure any of the electric pressure cooker models listed above and wish to perhaps consider a very modern, stovetop alternative then we'd encourage you to check out our full review of the Fissler Vitaquick series and the Presto Stainless Steel collection
